Chasity Michelle Miller

Best Woman

HOW WE MET: I was living in San Diego and my then husband had lost his job. Unable to work in my field (psychology), due to not having a California license, I became desperate and auditioned at a local strip club called Les Girls. It was an old school style, almost adult theatre type place that was obnoxiously pink with a rug on the stage. I was hired on the spot and told that they would text me my schedule. At that moment I burst into tears, because I didn't even have the 70 dollars to put minutes on my phone. While I was standing in the lobby crying out walked Chas, who didn't know me from Adam. She put $80.00 in my hand and told me she would see me next week. Chas has had that kind spirit and soul ever since. I love her, dearly.

Todd Harold Prevett

Groomsman

HOW WE MET: I was front singer in a band out in the middle of nowhere, NH, started by the rhythm guitar player, Curt, who I was dating at the time. One night, he said we had a lawyer coming to jam with us, who played every instrument, but didn't sing. When Todd came by we immediately connected through music. He pulled out some chords to songs he thought would better suit my voice than what Curt was having me sing. We had a great night and our music was all I could think about for many days. Eventually, Curt and the band became a toxic situation for me and I was forced to leave. Todd asked me to dinner one night and asked me to come jam with his band - and I have sung with them ever since. Todd and I also do open mic sometimes together as an acoustic duo.

Groomswoman

HOW WE MET: Back in 2012, I went to a large Zumba event for the cause "Boston Strong". I met some great people there and some overly pretentious Zumba people. I had just met the most pretentious Zumba instructor ever when I looked up on stage and there was this amazing instructor, dancing to none other the... THE SPICE GIRLS! I loved the choreography and the energy and I knew I had to get to know this person! I introduced myself and we exchanged Facebook contact information. I learned that she was a Spanish teacher, and we seemed to have so many similarities. Even though neither of us are teaching Zumba now, we created a friendship to last a lifetime!! I couldn't imagine my life without this woman, and I am so blessed she will be with me on this most important day!

Asia Leigh Emerick

Groomswoman

HOW WE MET: Though I had seen Asia around the competitive roller skating world, it is always amusing to tell people that we met while dating brothers! We were dating brother firemen who lived in York, Maine, and we spent a lot of time getting to know each other on thkose long, almost two hour drives, back and forth. We discovered many similarities and I found as time went on, I looked forward more to spending time with Asia than I did my, then, boyfriend. As it turns out, we ended up breaking up with them on the same day, which wasn't planned even though the boys seemed to think so. We comforted each other with Starbucks coffee and sugar cookies (Asia's favourite!) We have been good friends ever since, and recently I was blessed to sing a surprise dedication at her wedding!

Cherie Ann Rowe

Groomswoman

HOW WE MET: Cherie worked at the front desk as the Keene, YMCA where I worked as a fitness instructor. I was often running later than I would have like to class or consumed with thoughts of what I wanted to teach when Cherie would try to engage me in conversation. She was so beautiful and just had this incredible aura, I was always intimidated to talk to her, and would walk passed, probably looking very rude. One day, Cherie confronted me on my "rudeness", very bluntly. I apologized and we decided to go out to lunch. From that day, I realized that not only is Cherie incredibly beautiful, we shared a love of metaphysical things and many other similarities. She has been an important part of my life, ever since then.
