Maid of Honor

Brittany is my older sister, We were 3 grade levels apart so have grown closer the older we have gotten. She is a hardworking labor & delivery resident, and an absolute kick ass Mom juggling her work life balance. Britt helps keep me organized, very much so like Dino, so I am very thankful to call her my maid of honor, and happy to have her help with wedding planning, despite her already cramped schedule.

Having Luke enter my life all those years ago when Tina brought him to meet the family was the start of a great friendship and brotherhood. While a major column upon which this brotherhood stands is our shared interests and hobbies, while the other column is how willing we both are to come to each other's defense and help each other.

Koumbara

Tina is one of Dino's older sisters, and she is also our Koumbara. In simple terms, our wedding sponsor, who engages in the Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony by being the one to crown us as 'king and queen' of the day. I am very excited to be gaining another sister and am honored she agreed to be such an important part of the ceremony.

After meeting Matt that first night at Boozhag's Clubhouse, it quickly made itself apparent how much he cares for those he considers his family. His dependability lets other lean on him when they need to. It is one of the undervalued highlights in life to be able to find a sheltered cove in a storm, and those who know Matt have found such a place.

The first time I met Lena was at Chloe's baptism, and it was at the same church that we're getting married at! Lena is a fun, creative artist who can find a good cup of coffee anywhere she goes. She is a hardworking and loving Mom to Chloe (Dino's goddaughter), and I'm so excited to have her be part of such a special day.

The ability to stay calm and remain flexible through stormy times is a personality trait that not everyone has. Ryan has been in my life for a third of it now, and I know that should I ever need a port in a storm, he would be there.

Olivia Rakers

Olivia and I went to Eau Claire together and graduated from the nursing program. We also lived together during the final semester of school. Olivia has always brought out the silly side of me in the best way possible. We always have a great time together and I never fail to find a smile while she is by my side. "Buddies for life" thank you for standing up by my side on this important day.

Nick and I hit it off from the start, boring Tiffany and Olivia to death about our shared experiences and perspectives as Electrical Engineers. It was in the aftermath of an awesome weekend up in Green Bay that I knew Nick would be a great friend to have in my life. His unyielding attitude to live life to the fullest is a blend of chaos that everyone needs.

Jenna and I go back to the good old college days at UW Eau Claire. We were in the Nursing program there together and lived together during our last semester. She has always been a bright positive smiling face to cheer me on and I am beyond grateful to have her as a bridesmaid to add to my special day.

Austin was dropped into my life when Tina invited her dentistry school classmates to air hockey night at the Swanson household. After striking up conversation about whiskey, gaming and life itself, I knew that Austin had a personality and charisma about himself that should be valued more in life. I'm thankful to have him as part of the party.

Meghan Sommers

Meghan and I met during our College time in Eau Claire, we graduated the Nursing program together, ran a Marathon together and lived and worked together for over a year after college. She also holds the honor of being the match maker that set me and Dino up as she went to high school with Dino. I am very honored to call Meghan one of my best friends and am very grateful she is a part of our big day.

David and I had the joy of living across the hall from each other freshman year, while also discovering that we were both engineers. We braved the great hardships of mid terms and finals for years to come. And after that, we'd end up braving the greater hardships of mug night, trivia night and eagle park brewing. I am proud that David has answered the call once more to be my groomsman.
