Connor and I attended high school together and hadn't officially met until the summer before our Junior year. We met through a mutual friend and instantly wanted to get to know one another on a deeper level. Once school started we went on more dates and he ended up tutoring me in math (go figure). One fall afternoon, Connor surprised me at home with flowers and a poem asking me to be his girlfriend. We have been inseparable ever since.

We had gone up to one of our favorite places in the mountains. Packwood has been a place where we've grown up together so it's a pretty big deal when we go there anyway. One summer weekend we went up to Packwood to do some hiking to a secluded lake in the middle of the mountains. As we settle into our hammock, I noticed Connor rummaging through our backpack. He pulled out this beautiful ring and got down on one knee to ask me to be his wife. Tears were flowing and laughs were to be had because this was the day I've been waiting for since we started dating. We can't wait to be Mr. & Mrs. Lucas !
