We’re getting married!

Tiffany and Colten met in July of 2011 at 17 years old on Tiffany’s first day of work at Wendy’s. Colten had been working there for close to a year at that time. Tiffany’s first shift was a closing shift and she was still trying to figure out what she supposed to do. As fate would have it, Colten was also working that night. He came over and offered to stay over to help Tiffany close. From that point on Tiffany knew Colten could be her go to when she needed help. Throughout the next 7 months working together, they formed an unexpected friendship. Tiffany thought the friendship would fade after she left Wendy’s, but to her surprise, she received a text from Colten one evening shortly after! He had got her number from a mutual friend. That first night the two stayed up until 4am texting. By late March of 2012 they went on their first date and began planning to go to prom together. On Tiffany’s 18th birthday, April 13 2012, she woke up to a long, sweet message from Colten asking her to be his girlfriend and of course she said yes. Fast forward just a little over 7 years from that day to April 27 2019. Colten had been very anxious and getting upset any time it rained around this time but somehow Tiffany didn’t put the pieces together. Luckily, on this pacticular day there was no expected rain and Colten said they could follow through with his “surprise.” He said they were going to spend the day reliving their best dates. The day started with breakfast at Ihop then went onto adventuring in Thurmond, picnicing at Plum Orchard, hiking on Beauty Mountain, and ending by camping on Summerlee Moutain. Once the sun fell, Colten got on one knee and proposed by the open fire and just like 7 years ago, Tiffany said yes! Now on November 10th 2019, they will move onto yet another chapter together when they both say “I do.”
