We're Getting Married!

We met how many others are meeting in this digital world: online! Having swiped right on each other, we both obviously noticed each other's dashing good-looks but after the first date we both knew it was forever. At the Brass Tap at Wiregrass mall we met to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday night football game and ended up talking until the bar closed and well after the game was over. Although we didn't want the night to end, it sadly had to but since we both found that special connection, the first date turned into a second, then third and all the way where we are now!

Chad tricked me and planned a trip to Las Vegas under the disguise of us getting away from the corporate life for a week. Less than 12 hours from when we were leaving was also his Dad's surprise birthday party and being the procrastinators that we are, we hadn't even began to pack before we attended. Once safely home, with the liquid courage that had been consumed and while we were packing, he told me he loved me as I proclaimed "Well, if you like it then you should put a ring on it". Shocked is an understatement when I saw him reach into the filing cabinet, grab the ring, and give it to me as he simply just said "Okay then". Our break from reality turned into an engagement celebration in Vegas and it made the trip that much sweeter!
