We met on Match.com, our first date was at The Attic Ale House in Phoenix. Casey was in charge of planning our first date. While sitting outside on the second level we had a drink and got to know each other. Across the street Casey pointed out a speakeasy we should go to. I glanced at the dark building and figured it wouldn’t be a good idea. The best part was the name of the speakeasy, “The little woody”. Our connection grew over conversations and the time spent together during wonderful dates that Casey had planned out. I knew he was a keeper when I called him at work after dating for only a month that I found a puppy and was going to name her Bleu and bring her home. He was supportive and excited. That night he stopped by with two toys which later became some of her favorites. Miss Bleu likes to push our buttons but we absolutely love and adore our crazy pup. Casey has natural talent and an amazing gift at being very good at almost everything, this was intimidating in our new relationship. Casey took the time to give me pointers to help get me to his level no matter what challenge we were up against. I have learned from his pointers and the one thing I can beat him at is sequence, one of our favorite games to play together. We are so thankful that Casey’s Match.com subscription had one day left on it, if not we might not have met each other. We learned that although he has some great ideas on dates or adventures, he has lost his privileges to plan trips. Casey proposed at the base of the superstition mountains, one of my favorite mountain ranges in AZ. It was such a special day that was absolutely perfect! Our wedding venue, The Paseo is also located at the base of the superstition mountains. It’s gorgeous and we are so excited to have our wedding at this venue. We love spending time together as a couple and cannot wait to celebrate and share our big day together with family and friends!
