We met through his brother Kevin, and we followed each other on social media. A year later Brian decided to randomly message me. We began to talk and went on our first date on February 7, 2016, Superbowl Sunday, to BJ's Brewhouse. We sat, talked and barely touched our food because of how nervous we both were. After that I went home and napped and he got worried I wasn't interested, but I sure was, and the rest is history :)

We went on a big Disney trip that weekend with all of our close friends. We rented out a nice house and were so excited to visit all the theme parks. That Saturday, the 17th, we visited Epcot first, naturally I figured everyone would drink around the world and be so excited. But for some reason everyone was tense and awkward. I didn't think anything of it, just figured everyone wasn't in the mood to drink. Later that day we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom, we walked in and right in front of the castle we decided to stop to take pictures. When it was Brian and I's turn, we smiled, took the picture and then immediately after he got down on one knee and asked to marry me. The crowd went crazy, my face and his his turned red, I said YES, and we were engaged.
