Tiffany grew up at 325 Farmhill Circle and Austin grew up at 316 Farmhill Circle. It is crazy to think that after attending the same schools and riding the same busses, that two year age difference caused these two to not meet for twenty years. Austin was living at home and Tiff was away at college. During the summer of 2013, there was a garage sale in the neighboorhood. That was where Tiff’s dad, Mike, ended up recruiting Austin to work. They spent the next year working together and fishing together at the Ellis Cabin in Minnesota. Time passed. Austin and Tiff’s paths crossed only once during the fall of 2013. Tiff was home on fall break and ended up helping her dad on a job that Austin was also at. They said a quick “hello” and it was not until the summer of 2014 they would speak again. Fast forward to July of 2014. Tiff was home from school and Austin was still working for Mike. The Ellis family had a trip planned to Minnesota for the 4th of July. Mike, Karly (Tiff’s little sister), Danny (Tiff’s cousin), and Austin all headed up to the woods. Tiff and her mom, Brigitte, were working and were just a few days behind. Tiff and Karly talked to their dad about how it would be “weird” for this random neighbor guy to be on their family vacation with them. Mike assured them that Austin would only be at the cabin for a few days and would leave when mom and Tiff got there. Tiff’s MOH, Jess, will even vouch to this day that Tiff text her just a day into the vacation saying that, “he’s [Austin] really not that bad”. Long story short, Austin did not leave when Tiff and Brigitte got to the cabin. No calls or texts to his mom, Austin stayed an entire two weeks with the Ellis family at their cabin. There were many attempts and set ups to get Tiff and Austin together during those two weeks. When they returned home, Tiff left her phone number behind for Austin to find and just a few weeks later (ask Austin what took so long) the two went on their first date.
