Tiffany and Alexandro found each other through an algorithm and the swipe of a finger. Ever the risk taker, Alexandro picked a restaurant that he had never been to before. He showed up 5 minutes before Tiffany, arriving to a pitch-dark restaurant with all the chairs stacked on the tables. Thankfully, when she arrived, she didn’t immediately turn around to leave—maybe she thought he had rented out the entire place for their first date? What began as a questionable choice, turned into almost 5 hours of eating, drinking, and talking. No one else ever showed up to the restaurant.
Alexandro proposed to Tiffany at Bruce’s Beach in Manhattan Beach, a sloping park that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the first place Alexandro told Tiffany “I love you.” Under the guise of a family dinner and the help of Jackie, Mary Agnes, and Ross, Alexandro pulled off a complete surprise —so complete that Tiffany glanced at the 4’ tall letters that spelled out "MARRY ME” and kept walking. Alexandro turned her to the backdrop, got down on one knee, and asked THE question. She technically never said “yes,” but she did let him put the ring on her finger.
