Save The Date! We're Getting Married!

Awkward First Date, Turned Soul Mates

July 27, 2017

We met because one of Tiffany's friend, Thea, had a roommate that needed a ride to work. Alec worked at Stallard Technologies, at the time and so did Thea’s roommate. One day the roommate asked Alec if it would be possible for Alec to give him a lift home. Alec obliged and this turned into Alec picking up the roommate for work and dropping him off from work for about two weeks. Over the course of this time Alec would see Thea in passing as he would wait for the roommate. After one of their shifts at work Alec and the roommate were hanging out. When speaking with Thea she realized that she had just the right friend for Alec, that he just “had to meet” that friend was Tiffany. Thea tried to set us up on a date, but it was not working. We both had conflicting work schedules and were young and just not sure. Later that month happened to be Tiffany’s 21st birthday. Thea went out for Tiffany’s 21st birthday celebration. During the festivities of the evening Alec caught a glimpse of Tiffany on Thea’s socials. Alec thought, “she seems like a fun little riot” as we watched a video of her crawling through a doggy door to serenade Thea’s sweet puppy. It was at that moment that Alec decided he NEEDED to meet Tiffany. So he asked Thea if she would try to set something up again. Two weeks after Tiffany’s birthday we finally met. The plan was to have a double date with Thea and her beau at her place. Unfortunately, Thea’s date got stuck at work so it was Tiffany, Alec, and Thea on a dinner date. Alec nervously talked the night away so much that later when asked how the date went he stated, “she seems really quiet, chill, and sweet.” Anyone that has met Tiffany knows that *quiet* is not a word that describes her. Alec, trying to get to know the “quiet” girl, asked Tiffany out for a second date a week later. We went to the AMC, watched a movie that Tiffany would still claim to be the most confusing movie ever made. Then we went to a classy dinner at IHOP, where we finally got to talk to each other. Alec soon found out that Tiffany was not quiet, in fact he would now describe her as “loud and talkative… Rarely ever quiet, she even talks in her sleep.” Tiffany enjoyed Alec’s humor and unique perspective on life. We have been bewitched by one another ever since that date at the AMC theaters.
