How We Met

07/24/2014

It was a beautiful Saturday evening in the Summer of 2014, we both recall looking down on our phones with hope, yet uncertainty. It was at that moment we peaked into each others eyes and knew there was only one thing left to do, and that was to swipe right (on Tinder). After realizing we had played golf and competed around the same group of people for years leading up to this point, and somehow managed to not ever meet, we knew the time had come for us to tee it up together. As the legendary story goes, Jared took the win after 9 holes of blistering heat and fierce competition, but Tiffany claims she was drugged by the arrows of love and was thus sentenced to defeat. Nearly 5 years went by before Jared was forgiven and was allowed to ask Tiffany to spend the rest of her life with him. See "The Proposal"....

The Proposal

10.19.2019

We were planning on going out to dinner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary, as well as the successful closing on our first home together. We had just closed on the house earlier that week and Jared told me he had to take me by the house before dinner to show me some damage that was done to our wall from the terminator. I didn't think anything of it and we walked in to see this huge caution sign and brown paper covering a huge portion of the wall. I turned around to put my stuff down and I then hear Jared quickly rip the paper off the wall, uncovering a poem written in fresh red paint... I turn around and he is down on one knee. He then said, I know you hate using absolutes but I will ALWAYS love you, will you marry me? - I was so surprised and excited.... I SAID YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Thank you for being part of our special day and showering us with love! See you in September!
