Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love you and your whole family, this is an 18+ event. We will NOT be providing child care for anyone bellow the age of 18. If you choose to bring your child, you will be asked to leave until you have found appropriate care for them. Thank you so much for respecting this boundary, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Please come in formal wear: Suit (with Tie (any) preferred but not required), Formal Dress, Dress Slacks, Dress Shirt, Black Jeans, Button Up Top, Nice Polo or Sweater. Please do NOT come in tattered clothing, t-shirts or jeans; tank tops, flip flops. Please DO NOT come in one of the following colors: -Navy Blue -Emerald Green

What kind of dinner are you providing?

Answer

We will not be providing a meal at the reception. There are many food places in the area. Please feel free to eat before coming or bring your meal with you to enjoy on site. We will be providing charcuterie, drinks, and dessert. We will have gluten free options.

Have you booked a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We did not. Our venue is roughly one hour away from the KC airport if you are flying in. We are 40 minutes from KC/Olathe, and 15 minutes from Belton/Harrisonville if you are driving in.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do not bring a date. Everything about our wedding is intended to be simple and tight-knit. Each person in either a family unit or couple will receive their own invite to RSVP with. If you choose to arrive with a person who did not receive their own invitation, they will be asked to leave. Thank you for respecting this boundary. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is a dirt parking lot at the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing any kind of shuttle/bus service to or from the reception. It will be up to you to find your own transportation.
