Tiffani's annual work Christmas party

The proposal: We were up north for our annual New Year's ski trip at Shanty Creek Resort with our friends Jon & Erica. Because of bad snow conditions, we decided to go to the Traverse City wineries.

Will suggested to get a photo outside. Tiffani, suspecting nothing, was adamant about keeping their hot cocoa mugs in the photo, adding stress to Will’s plan to get the ring out.

Will eventually set down his cocoa, got down on a knee, and said “I’ve been carrying this around all day looking for the perfect moment...will you marry me?” Tiffani was shocked and said YES.

Shout out to our friend Erica for being there to capture it all. It was the perfect mix of intimate with no one else outside except for us and Erica to get the photos.

Tiffani was completely shocked! She always thought she would suspect when the proposal would be coming but Will kept it a secret! ;)

Wine tasting in Traverse City has always been one of our favorite things to do, so getting engaged here felt so perfect for us!

Erica was super excited because her favorite actress and owner of the winery Bonobo, Amy Smart, was there at the NYE party. The owners congratulated us with a bottle of champagne as a keepsake.

Spent NYE night celebrating and then told our close friends and family the exciting news!
