When and how should we RSVP?

Answer

Because this is a destination wedding, attendance is confirmed through booking accommodations with our travel agent. At this time, no additional RSVP is required. Once formal invitations are sent and the wedding weekend schedule is finalized, we’ll invite guests to return to the website to select which events they plan to attend.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a room block at Sandals Ochi, where all wedding events will take place. Staying at the resort allows guests to fully participate in the wedding weekend.

What does the price of my stay include?

Answer

Sandals offers a true all-inclusive experience. Your stay covers everything from gourmet meals and snacks (including specialty restaurant dining) to unlimited premium beverages and top-shelf liquor. Entertainment and numerous resort activities are also included. Once you arrive, you can relax knowing that food, drinks, and resort amenities are already taken care of, with no additional charges. Tipping is not permitted, ensuring a completely worry-free vacation.

How long should we plan to stay?

We’re planning a full wedding weekend and encourage guests to plan for a stay of around four nights at the resort. This gives everyone time to travel, settle in, and enjoy the celebration together. Our room block and wedding events are planned with this timeframe in mind, but if you’d like to stay for fewer or additional nights, our travel agent can help coordinate those arrangements.

When should I book my trip?

As soon as possible. To allow us to finalize wedding plans, we ask that guests book their accommodations promptly.

How do payment plans work for the trip?

Our travel agent will set up flexible payment plans for your rooms, so you can pay in installments rather than all at once. Just chat with her, and she’ll help you set up a schedule that works for you.

Do I need a passport?

Yes! A valid passport is required for travel to Jamaica. Make sure it does not expire within 6 months of your travel dates.

Yes, but please make sure they are included in your RSVP and booked through the room block if they plan to attend wedding events.

Yes. Sandals is an adults-only resort, so this will be a 18+ celebration.

What should I pack?

Answer

Light, breathable clothing, swimsuits, sandals, sunscreen, and something nice for the wedding. Don’t forget your passport! We’ll share a more detailed packing guide closer to the date.

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

If you stay at Sandals Ochi, round-trip airport transfers from Montego Bay (MBJ) are included. You do not need to book transportation separately. Sandals will coordinate your shuttle once your flight is booked. The drive from the airport to the resort is approximately 90 minutes.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

November in Jamaica is warm and tropical, with temperatures typically in the 80s during the day and 70s at night. There may be occasional quick rain showers, but they usually pass quickly. Overall, it’s perfect beach weather.
