Ty and I first met in middle school and we were good friends in the 8th grade! I moved away for high school and we kept in touch for a bit over Myspace, but eventually lost contact. That is until we were reconnected when I was a sophomore at West Chester University through a mutual friend. Our first "date" was hanging out at Ty's parents, watching "That 70's Show" and he put his arm around me. We've been together and have remained in West Chester ever since!

After a harsh winter, and a break in the weather, we decided to take advantage of the warmer temperatures and went for a walk at Ridley Creek State Park. We probably spent more time looking for the right path to park along than actually walking but once we were alone on a path, Tyler got down on one knee and proposed! I don't think I verbally said "yes!" but there were nods, tears and kisses! We're so excited to celebrate the next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Philly!
