Tiff and Ryan met in tenth grade, Algebra II class to be exact, and instantly became friends listening to music on Tiffany's 1st generation iPod classic everyday during class. Ryan's fifteen year old heart somehow knew he met the love of his life while Tiffany was oblivious to the fact that Ryan had a major crush the entire year. We graduated high school, went off to college, and started dating in 2014.
Tiff and Ryan went on a trip to Puerto Rico where they explored the entire island over a week. Leading up to this time, Ryan spent months planning out the proposal and had to sneakily buy the ring (shout out to Tanner for the help), ask Tiff's dad for her hand in marriage, book a photographer, etc. Knowing how Tiff ruins every surprise, Ryan did everything he could to keep this hidden (basically living a lie because they tell each other everything). The morning of the proposal, Ryan woke Tiff up at 4am and drove into the mountains to catch the sunrise. On the way there, Ryan gets a text from the photographer saying he couldn't make it to the proposal because he got into an accident (he wasn't hurt, thank goodness). In full panic mode, Ryan played it cool as always and came up with Plan B. They took a hike to a beautiful waterfall where Ryan planned to pop the question. In an effort to capture the special moment Ryan props his phone on a rock and starts recording all the while Tiff has no idea what's going on just taking in the scenery. Ryan gets on one knee, Tiff is sobbing uncontrollably (serious ugly crying) and says "YES!".
The day Tiff and Ryan officially, lawfully, no turning back wedded. It was a beautiful Saturday after a week living with no power and water due to the snow storm. A very special shout out to our parents for making the drive to Austin and for Cyril (best man) for officiating. We are SO excited to finally have you join us as we tie the knot (again) and celebrate our first year of marriage in person. We can't wait to see you soon!
