We went here for a Corpus Christi Hooks baseball game on our first date. Great place for a fun time with family and friends! Make sure to sit on the third base side though to avoid the afternoon sun.
The Surf Club is a great casual seafood place. They often have live music out on the patio. We had dinner here on our first date!
The Post is one of our favorite restaurants because the food and drinks are DELICIOUS! We highly recommend this spot for Sunday Brunch when you wake up from the best wedding you've ever been to.
BUS is walking distance from the hotels we have reserved room blocks at and is one of our favorite places for great drinks, food trucks, and games. We go to BUS often so don't be surprised if this is where the wedding after party is...assuming we are still awake.
You'll be in Texas which means you have to get some authentic Mexican food and Kiko's is one of our favorite spots. If you don't order the queso and a margarita, you're playing yourself.
Our wedding will be here and you'll have access to the entire Caribbean Journey Exhibit but we definitely recommend visiting on your own because there is so much to see. The Aquarium is a great place for kids, animal lovers, and conservationists.
Selena Quintanilla Perez was the Queen of Cumbia and Tejano music and people travel from all over the world to visit her memorial in Corpus Christi. Selena's music and female empowerment were an important part of Tiffany's upbringing. Start practicing your Cumbia moves now because our DJ has already been instructed to play Selena's music at our wedding!
"Three amazing things have come from Corpus Christi: Selena, Whataburger, and me." - Tiffany If you're looking for the best fast food burger in the world (according to Tiffany and not Ben) or you want something low key and quick, be sure and check out this Texas staple. There are locations all over town.
You can't come down to Corpus Christi without visiting the beach! Ben lived on the island during his time here and we consider this beach one of the best spots for long walks and long talks.
If you're feeling a little adventurous, you have to try BKK. It's another spot we frequent for great food and fun cocktails. They were recently named best new local restaurant by The Bend Magazine and featured in the Texas Monthly Magazine. Go find out why.
Take a short drive to Port Aransas and visit Shorty's. Port Aransas got hit hard by Hurricane Harvey last year and the town is still recovering but going strong! Following a two month voyage to Baltimore, Ben returned to Port Aransas days after Harvey to find his station and car had been ruined along with most of the place he called home. We walked over to Shorty's that was not only somehow still standing but filled with people who had lost everything but were helping neighbors clean up and feel better.
