Welcome to our Wedding

Both Benjamin and Tifaney met online merely by happenstance on Facebook of all places! We had 5, 6, and even 8 hour long conversations on the phone and decided that we wanted to meet in person. A few dates in, we went to a cute restaurant in Travelers Rest, S.C. called Whistle stop cafe. Tifaney got a fried green tomato sandwich and the sandwich quickly became messy right away! During this sandwich fiasco, Benjamin looked up sweetly at Tifaney and said 'I think I could fall in love with you.' And the rest became history! To this day, they still love to eat fried green tomato sandwiches and pimento cheese! They are excited to share this wonderful day with you!

Benjamin did his homework and asked the brides mom (Michelle) for Tifaney's hand in marriage, who was very amazed but nonetheless agreed of course. Both of them love to hike and Benjamin had this great idea to go to the mountains of West Virginia. Benjamin then drove Tifaney 2-3 hours to a place called Seneca Rocks that is basically a sheer rock face. As we were climbing, we stopped for a breather at one of the top rocky points. It was cloudy all around with no one in sight, but Benjamin knew this was the place. He got the strength to gently and lovingly held Tifaney's hands and then kneel down on one knee to pop the question! All the while, keeping his composure. As Tifaney was very shocked, Benjamin gently called to her to not fall off the rock cliff face and ensured that she was safe in his arms. He placed the ring on her finger, they gently embraced, and after uttering the word 'Benjamin' in shock 16 times, she said the magical word 'yes', thus creating this memorable story.
