We’re Tying the Knot!

We met way back when… the good ol’ days when I was cheering him on while he was killing it on the basketball court. Time went on, we graduated high school and went to two opposing sides of the state. It was spring break of our sophomore year, and our best friends separately invited us to Crested Butte, CO to shred the mounts. The rest is history.

WHAT A DAY, Planned so perfectly. It was 5 AM on the best weekend of them all - Fourth of July. Big plans were in store on Lake Eufaula, where he asked me to be his girlfriend five years prior. I woke up due to someone being restless, and there were dresses and accessories laying out and Jacob was WIDE awake, actually I don’t think he slept. “Pick an outfit, your 5 year dating anniversary gift finally came in” he said. Me, not thinking anything of it, “okay, but can’t I just wear my pjs?” He told me no, and that I needed to get sort of presentable. We then took a golf cart to the beach where the most beautiful set up was placed and he took a knee and asked me to be his wife. Following the proposal, we watched the sun rise over one of our favorite beaches - Bedford Beach. Surprises weren't over though, a whole party was waiting on our arrival.
