We're Tying The Knox

Two knots individually set apart, who would have thought we would've been here from the start? Initially meeting April 12, 2012, and connecting on Facebook, having conversations about navigating Corporate America's Playbook. Winning at Paul Quinn and beyond was the strategy, not knowing that God has other plans actually. T'Edra worked to manage school, sorority life, internships, and the transition from college to corporate. Ed was always a phone call or text away always willing to provide a positive way to interpret. Defining our relationship has always a struggle, mentor, personal chef, roommate, not knowing our fate. Our closest friends always told us we would be together but we were always in our individual bubbles. T'Edra's move to California was the space that both Ed and T'Edra needed, Ed used this time to seek God to make sure this was something that God agreed with. T'Edra spent time in California obtaining her Master's not realizing that this journey was for her healing and preparing her for the wife that Ed had been seeking. August 12, 2017, during T'Edra's graduation dinner, Ed asked her and her family if it's okay if he courts her, she said yes! These individual knots set apart not realizing that God was setting them up from the start. From a girl who never saw herself getting married to a guy that was not moving forward until God agreed. T'Edra and Ed never thought that they would be here, they were just two knots who decided to trust God even if it did not look the way they desired. Not realizing that through their introduction their submission is all God required. God's love ultimately wins, we are thankful for Facebook but mostly Paul Quinn.
