In March of 2019, I noticed Lindsay's testimony video that had gone viral on Facebook. In the months prior, Lindsay watched a documentary called American Gospel that opened her eyes to the deception she had fallen into while at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. Immediately upon watching this video, I sent my friends Sam and Jacob a message, telling them I had found my wife. I was dead serious. I had never met Lindsay. In fact, she did not even know I existed. Let's back up just a little bit more to see another part of this story. In October of 2018, Lindsay and a mutual friend of ours, Krystell, both had a post on Facebook go viral. Krystell and her husband go to the same church as I do. Being members of the same church, we knew each other and had spoken after church often. While I was declaring to my friends that I found my wife, I had no idea Lindsay and Krystell knew each other. Towards the end of April and the beginning of May, Krystell asked me if I knew her friend, Lindsay. Naturally, I was ecstatic, but I played it somewhat cool. From the time I said she would be my wife, I began praying for an opportunity with Lindsay. I cannot explain it, but I had an overwhelming desire to get to know Lindsay. Her testimony was beautiful, but who was Lindsay Davis? I debated on messaging her, but decided against it because I did not want to appear like just another guy trying to message her. I decided to be patient and trust in the Lord. After a few weeks, Krystell messaged Lindsay and I together in a group message on Facebook and introduced us. Lindsay was reluctant, and frankly had no desire to be in a relationship considering what she had just gone through at Bethel. I messaged her privately and we talked a little that night, but after that, Lindsay ignored me for 10 days! Ha! This allowed me more time to pray for her and a future with her. After 10 long days, she finally messaged back and the rest is history. -Zack
