We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
Absolutely! Kids listed on your formal invitation are invited. This should include everyone’s little ones, but if we’ve accidentally missed someone, please reach out to Callie at 734-620-0583, and we’ll be happy to make adjustments!
If your formal invitation includes your partner's name or says 'and guest,' you're welcome to bring them - please include their name when you RSVP. If your invitation doesn't mention a guest but you'd like to bring someone, please contact Callie at 734-620-0583, and we'll consider it on a case-by-case basis.
If you have any food needs, please let us know! We want you to feel safe and cared for, and we’ll do our best to accommodate special requests. Reach out to Callie at 734-620-0583 so we can make arrangements.
Yes, we are! You can find our registry on Zola, which also links to our Amazon registry. While we appreciate traditional gifts, we would prefer contributions to our honeymoon fund. However, we've included some items for those who prefer giving physical gifts. Thank you!
Yes! There is plenty of free parking available for all guests. Handicap and valet services are also available for those who may need extra assistance.
Yes! We're planning a shuttle service between the hotels with reserved room blocks (Holiday Inn & Fairfield Inn) and the venue to ensure everyone can get to and from the celebration safely. You also have the option to drive to the venue, then take an Uber or the shuttle back to your accommodations, and pick up your car the next morning if needed. However, please keep in mind that Uber is unreliable in the area. If you’re staying outside of the designated room blocks, let us know in advance, we may be able to arrange an additional shuttle stop. More details on the shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the wedding date!
Our wedding celebration will be spread across both outdoor and indoor settings Ceremony: Outdoors on a grass lawn. Cocktail hour: Will be served outside at the bar with access to the cool reception hall as needed. Dinner: Will be a blend of indoor and outdoor seating depending on the final number of guests. Dancing and Bar: Will be set up outdoors under a covered awning, with access to the expansive property including the beautiful pond area and a swing-set for the kids. Given the August heat, we recommend dressing in lightweight, breathable fabrics and considering sun protection such as hats or sunscreen for the outdoor portions. We'll also provide shaded areas and cooling stations to help keep everyone comfortable.
We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the start time. This will provide time to park and find your seat without rushing. Please be mindful that arriving too early may result in extended exposure to the heat and sun.
Our wedding celebration will conclude at 12 a.m., and we would love for you to stay until the end to join us in a joyful send-off with all our loved ones. However, we understand if you need to leave earlier and want you to feel comfortable doing so. To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the evening, we are arranging a shuttle service between the venue and the hotels where we have reserved room blocks. If you plan to stay outside of the designated room blocks, we may be able to arrange an additional stop—please let us know in advance so we can explore that option. From 10:30 p.m. to 12 a.m., we plan to host a silent disco.
The venue will supply tents if needed during the ceremony to keep everyone dry!
