How it all started !

The one right in front of my eyes the whole time

Jonathan was always quiet in school. I was a little bit more outgoing than he was but still a little shy. In Highschool, we had a class together but I never thought anything of it because we never spoke to one another. Fast forward to college I recognized him as a familiar face. I always thought he would be a sweet person. He would always say "Hey" to me when I saw him in passing. I would always go to dinner around the same time with one of my close friends and I remember randomly saying, after he said hi to me that day, that he was the type of guy my dad would love for me to bring home. Unknowingly foreshadowing a part of my life lol. One Friday night I was bored and texted him asking him what he was doing for the night. He responded he had no plans and suggested we hang out if I had no other plans as well. I took him up on his offer and he came over to my dorm room. Not long after, he came over and we started talking about what to do. I remember mentioning that I missed my twin sister a lot that night. He said to me "Do you want to go see her?" I said, "Of course but she's all the way in Charlotte!" He told me he would take me but I thought he was joking. So we grabbed our stuff and walked to his car. I just knew he was going to drive around the parking lot of the college just to mess with me. Sure enough, 10 minutes later we were actually heading to Charlotte. So much happened that night & we had a blast visiting my twin sister. That night a homeless guy came really close to us asking us for money. He quickly told me to get behind him and in that moment I knew he would protect me. After that crazy encounter, we made our way home. We sat and talked for a bit and as I was leaving I fell out of his car and scraped my knee. He offered to carry me upstairs to my room but being the independent woman I am, I told him I would be alright. After he left he sent me the sweetest message telling me how much fun he had that night and the rest was history.
