First thing you have to do is determine the number of days you'll be staying in Florida. Are you coming just for the wedding? Do you want to make a vacation out of it and stay longer? However long you are visiting, make sure to book your stay as soon as you know you will be able to attend. There are a few recommendations on the travel page of the website and the bride and groom are happy to assist with finding additional options for lodging.
Disney World Park Tickets are not required for the ceremony or reception. But for those wishing to explore Disney or turn this into a personal vacation at the parks, that would require you to purchase park tickets.
If you are making the trip more of a vacation, and you are staying on property or through a Disney authorized hotel, you will be able to make dining reservations 180 days in advance. Otherwise, you will get a chance to make them 60 days in advance. To make dining reservations, you can go on the My Disney Experience App, Walt Disney World website, or call (407) 939-5277.
When you book your rooms make sure to customize your magic bands in your My Disney Experience app. This is your keycard, park pass (if you purchase them), room charge card and more. DO NOT PACK YOUR MAGIC BANDS! They will be your key to the bus and your hotel room. We will be wearing ours to the airport.
Disney Resort Guests will also be able to enjoy Extra Magic Hours. On certain days of the week, guests can enter a park one hour earlier or stay in a park up to two hours later than normal park operating hours. Please check Disney Parks' Hours as your trip approaches.
After you have booked your stay, make sure to add your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. This is an account where you can manage your reservations, book dining, and set your Fast Passes. There is, also, a mobile app that you can carry with you throughout the parks.
