Tiera was born in raised in the small town of Cameron, Wisconsin and Rebecca was born and raised in the small town of Yucaipa, California. They both went on to attend college at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. After meeting through mutual friends in 2013, their friendship flourished through the years, and on March 13, 2016 they started dating. They spent their last few years making endless memories in St. Cloud until they both graduated college, and were both able to land successful jobs in Eau Claire, WI. In 2018 they found a house and together, with the help from their friends and family, were able to create a beautiful home for themselves, their dog Tilly, and two cats Finnegan and Jameson in Altoona, WI. In the fall of 2020, shortly after the pandemic had rocked the world, they took a small vacation out to Arizona to take some time to relax and escape. While in Arizona, surrounded by some of their closest friends, Rebecca dropped down to one knee in Papago Park; and as the sun was setting behind her, she asked Tiera to spend the rest of their lives together. The last six years together have been full of memories and laughter (anyone that knows Tiera knows life is never boring with her commical tendencies). Not only are Tiera and Rebecca future Mrs. and Mrs. Harps, but they are and have always been best friends and each others rock through the years. They do say that the best relationships start as friendships, and we have found that to be true through and through. Some of you may ask how Tiera and Rebecca decided whose last name they will be taking. Not only is Harps easier to spell and pronounce, but Rebecca is oddly skilled at rock paper scissors; which happened to be the deciding factor. We are overjoyed with all of the love pouring over us from friends and family, and with our loved ones by our side we cannot wait to finally say “I Do” on June 4th, 2022.
