FAQs

Questions about the wedding? Hopefully you can find answers here!
Question

When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

We will be celebrating our nuptials during a short ceremony at home plate at Fulshear High School in Fulshear, TX at 5:30PM. You will enter off of FM 1093 between the bus barn and the campus (road right before the light at Bois D'Arc and Charger Way). Follow the road down until you pass the football field and you will see the baseball field on your right.

Question

Will alcohol be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We are offering beer, red and white wine, vodka and whiskey.

Question

What if I don't see what I prefer to drink? Can I bring my own?

Answer

Absolutely! The reception hall provides all of the glasses, sodas, lemonade, tea and water. If you would like to bring your own alcoholic beverages, the reception hall is BYOB. You can either choose to keep it at your table or give it to the bartender to fix your drinks for you.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

I have food allergies - what is being served for dinner?

Answer

We are using in house catering with Sterling Banquet Hall. On the menu: Chipotle Chicken Chicken Picatta Roasted potatoes Saffron rice Garden salad Rolls

Question

Who is invited to the Rehearsal/Co-ed Softball game?

Answer

Everyone! We are taking this down the non-traditional route. We will have a short rehearsal for the wedding party, but we wanted to have a fun, casual event before the formal affair. We want all of our friends and family who would like to join us for the game to come on out! Grab a chair, bat and glove (if you have them), your favorite beverage, and something to share. We will be having a potluck picnic during and after the game.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose! The ceremony is outside at 5:30PM, but we understand that it is the end of June in Houston, TX so we will keep it short and sweet! We don't want to get sweaty in our wedding attire either before we head to the reception venue! FYI: I know for a fact the Bride Squad will be sporting our Chucks at the reception ;)!
