We're tying the knot!

It all began in November 2018, when Tiegan (18) and Jay (19) first connected… of course, via an Instagram DM. While Jay swears Tiegan gave him the green light by liking a post first, Tiegan honestly has no recollection. What we do know is that Jay sent the first message and he was persistent—he asked Tiegan out three times. And each time, Tiegan had a polite excuse: “Sorry, I’m busy,” she was just starting her law degree and was not interested in adding a relationship into the mix. Enter Kelly (Tiegan’s mum), who after hearing about jays impressive persistence put her foot down and advised: “Just go. See what happens.” So Tiegan agreed to give it a chance…and the rest is history (thanks mum!). From that first “see what happens” outing, our journey unfolded. We have collected incredible memories: city breaks, sunshine holidays, and one standout trip to Paris. It was that first weekend in Paris that confirmed for Jay that this was it. Tiegan was the one. (Slightly unnerving, perhaps — we’d already been together four years by then — but he was absolutely right.) Two months later in March 2023 Jay had the bright idea to surprise Tiegan with our first born, Winnie, despite the fact we were living between our parents houses and Andy and Kelly had just bought a puppy themselves, we were left with just one option - Jim and Karen's (much to Jim’s dismay). October 2023 marked a major milestone—our first home together. And finally, after almost six amazing years together, Jay got down on one knee. This is our story. From a instagram like and a nudge from Mum, to a lifetime of love, laughter and the adventures ahead. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter!
