Leah's POV - Back in 2022, I was out at Flamingo Jack's for the hometown tradition of celebrating the night before Thanksgiving when a random guy walked up, gave me a hug, and confidently said, “Hi Leah.” A few minutes later, I asked my girlfriends who he was, only to realize I had absolutely no idea who this man was. Somehow, by the end of the night, Jake left with my phone number. Three days later, we grabbed coffee, and we haven’t stopped talking since. Jake's POV - If you ask me how I swept Leah off her feet, I’ll tell you it was a masterclass in confidence. If you want the truth, it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and I’d had just enough to drink to forget we had never actually spoken before. I saw Leah across the bar and greeted her like a long-lost best friend, complete with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Luckily for me, Leah is as gracious as she is beautiful. She went along with it and gave me her number. We went on our first official date the following week, and that was that. Moral of the Story - Always give your number out at the bar!
