Our People

How we know them and why we picked them :)

Sadie Lynn

Maid of Honor

I met Sadie in highschool, senior year, when I was looking for a job. A mutual friend told me to list Sadie as a reference at Chick-fil-A, and a few days after I got the job I actually met Sadie face to face in class. We have been through a lifetime's worth of both devastating and beautiful moments together and though our paths have not always been in sync our friendship has never waivered. Whenever either of us needs a rock to anchor on through a storm we are there for each other. Whenever there is a joyous moment we can't wait to call each other. Sadie is my person and I am beyond elated that she will be standing beside me when I marry my best friend.

Rachel

Bridesmaid

I met Rache when I was 11. I didn't like her much as she came out of left field and stole my job! When her mom started dating my Uncle they had a built in babysitter that they didn't have to pay. But, an 11 year old only knows that they're no longer getting paid. A couple of years later, after a few family functions smoothed over hurt feelings, we were friends going to Junior High together. We became great friends during our formative years and have watched each other grow and helped each other through most of life's great lessons. I am thrilled to have her by me on this day as I really couldn't imagine this day without her.

Sam

Bridesmaid

The Kiddo! Sam is my Seester! With a 14 year age gap, for a long time the only thing we really had in common was our parents. But, over the years she has grown into a beautiful young lady who enjoys singing, animals and riding dirt bikes out in the desert. Over the last few years we have grown closer and it's been wonderful getting to know her and watching her grow. Sam is a great confidant and I am so happy to have her on my team.

Jamie

Bridesmaid

My Jamie Jam! This beauty stole the heart of one of my very best guy friends over 8 years ago. At the time she was also working for my Dad and was lovingly referred to as his "work daughter." We met at a birthday party one of our mutual friends was throwing for her. The girl I met that day was carefree and loving life. Though she is still loving life after all these years, I've learned since then that she has great cares, a beautiful mind and a wonderful soul. I am honored to call her my friend and overjoyed that she will be by my side during this next great adventure.

Summer

Bridesmaid

My Summer Time! This wonderful woman came into my life during a lake season from hell! We both had boyfriends who had boats and liked women. At the end of those relationships we had each other. Though we've only known each other for about 4 years, this friendship grew from a mutual love for honesty and integrity. When Summer moved upstairs in my apartment complex we became each other's daily dose of common sense. Therapy sessions were had on my front porch where we reassured each other that we were in fact not losing our minds, people are terrible, and beer is delicious. In 2018 she married her best friend as I got to stand next to her and witness their exchange of vows. It is a great pleasure to know she'll be there to cheer me on while we exchange ours.

Alex

Bridesmaid

Alex came to me via Jeremy, and I couldn't be happier! Alex and I met during the first party Jeremy had after we met at Country Thunder. It was Memorial Day weekend and everyone came over to see him. In walks this cute little thing who proceeds to out drink us all. There wasn't a whole lot I remembered about that night, but her wit and sarcasm made it through and I was happy to have met her. Months later I was visiting Jeremy in Ohio and had a rare opportunity to play Destiny live with her and Jeremy. I was the spotter while they went through and cleared house. It made my night and, I later found out, hers. Since Jeremy moved home 2 years ago we've grown as close as two 30 somethings with busy lives can. I am so excited to have her in my life and on my bridal team.

Greg Gumeringer

Best Man

He’s my brother and my best friend. He has always been there for me through thick and thin. I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d want standing by my side.

Mike Ballard

Groomsman

What can you say about Michael that hasn’t been said before?? A lot! I’ve know Mike for several years now and I he is a true kindred spirit. He is always there with a kind word when you need it and a stern word when you don’t want to hear the truth. He is a true man amongst men. I tried to steal his dog and ended up with a friend and mentor for life!

Dave McKinley

Groomsman

I’ve known Dave long enough to have seen his family grow from diapers to fake IDs. Dave has always been a true friend and a guiding light. He is not afraid to challenge you to be your best or attempt to drink you under the table. Great at the first, bad at the second. If you could choose your family he would be my blood.

Matt Monschein

Groomsman

MOONSHINE!!!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Matt during the my second renaissance. I asked if he had a phone charger I could borrow and the guy hasn’t left me alone since. We have had the honor to help each other through the best and worst of times. He is and will be one of my best friends through the ages.

Brandon Childs

Groomsman

Brando!!!! Brandon has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever know. Gotta pump a lot of bloods to those giant arms!!! I met Brandon and Matt at the same time. The three of us clicked and became terrible/awesome influences on each other. He will do anything for his friends and gives freely of himself without asking for anything in return. He is a Veteran, a father and a damn good human being. I am honored to be counted among his friends.

Jason Klimek

Groomsman

Jason is my hired help that doesn’t receive the benefit of being paid for his efforts! I met Jason through Tracy and instantly knew he would be a friend for life. He is a great friend who would do anything for his loved ones. I can’t get the guy out of my damn pool though. I don’t think there is a week that goes by where we are not working on projects, drinking beers, or planning how we will spend our lottery winnings when it happens.
