We have hand selected guests who have received a plus one on their invitation. If you did not receive a plus one we ask you to honor that. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We want our closest friends and family to witness this celebration.
The dress code is cocktail attire with a few exceptions such as nice jeans and boots. Appropriate cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, and slacks are all good examples of what to wear. Neutral colors please, nothing bright. Please do not wear any kind of white or off white, that is the bride's job.
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. Our venue is also an old and historical building with many artifacts on display that we do not want anyone touching or possibly breaking. We thank you for your understanding.
Please arrive no later than 2:30pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. This will allow time to mingle and find a seat prior to the ceremony starting.
We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in the moment with us. We have hired a professional photographer for capturing this ceremony.
Your presences is a present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
There is plenty of onsite parking next to the Opera House at the Storey County District Attorney building. There is also plenty of parking along many of the streets near Piper's Opera House and throughout Virginia City within walking distance.
We are at a venue that is right next door to a bar called The Corner Bar where you may go to if you would like a mixed drink. We will be providing champagne and wine for toasting along with water and soft drinks at the venue.
