Pepa and Tiare were introduced at a bar called V-lounge near Ala Moana. Yes, a bar lol. Both of them were enjoying a night out with friends. After they were introduced by a friend, they began their own conversation. **Pepa was rocking a chain and dark big shades along with a SAMOA jersey and T was wearing heels and a big red jacket over her outfit. While sharing a shot of Jameson ;) their discussion was about how as Polynesians, they have more to offer the world than just their athletic abilities. Pepa followed-up with telling Tiare to follow her dreams of being an architect (or whatever she wanted to do) since she was pau playing basketball JUST like he was able to really fall in love with music after his football career. It was super refreshing, and they had a quick laugh. After exchanging info, the next week they were messaging back and forth about a date, but both of them were leaving the country at the end of the week (Tiare to AUS to visit her mate Courtney's Ohana and Peps to JAP on tour w/ Josh), so they had to meet up sooner than later. Pepa ended up asking Tiare to a lunch date. A memory they recall often was that their waiter noticed them praying before their pupus and said "Aye a family who prays together stays together", which is what they believe gave them a chance - God made space for the other in their life and THEN He brought them together - They talked long distance for a few weeks while they were both traveling. They met up again at home and made it official in the middle of that summer - JULY 3rd, which is the date they are tying the knot! They know they are blessed to have found another part of themselves, just as God intended in His timing. God's will (Destiny) is ALL!
