If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience during your visit, we highly recommend exploring Bear Lake Trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park. This short, scenic nature trail loops around the stunning Bear Lake, offering breathtaking views at every turn. It was one of our first hikes we did together!
Downtown Estes Park
Downtown is filled with shops, boutiques, and galleries offering something for everyone. We love visiting the Beef Jerky store (Beef Jerky Experience), Sugar Shack and Fudge Factory, and the ornament store (Christmas Shoppe)!
Stanley Hotel
If you’re exploring Estes Park, don’t miss the Stanley Hotel—an iconic landmark famous for inspiring The Shining. Whether you stay or just visit, it’s a historic gem with a rich, eerie charm. For a thrilling experience, take the Shining Tour to walk through the very halls where the movie was filmed. Tickets are $30 per person.
