We're getting married!

We met at our local Walmart in Hardeeville, SC. We were both employees at the time, him in the deli and her in the bakery. As fate would have it, we were both home on summer break from SCSU and USC. Although many would love to take credit for this love connection, we acknowledge our former coworker, Tanisha as the woman who did the legwork. We went on our first date on June 13, 2016 and quickly made it official on June 18, 2016, and the rest is history.

The day is October 1, 2022, hurricane Ian has passed. The two are meeting up with their favorite couple, Kilani and Roderick, for a double date. Cornelius and Rick take their ladies on a sunset cruise of the Ashley River in Charleston, SC. The sun has set, the views are immaculate and the date is seemingly over. As the boat docks, the couples talk for a while before heading to their cars. Before making it to the car, Tiara sees some people in the distance scrambling to get into places shouting "here they come". She begins to realize what is happening. Then Musiq Soulchild's song, Love, begins to play in the distance. There is an aisle designated for Tiara to walk down lined with candles, and filled with rose petals. As she reaches the end, a bouquet of roses are given to her, and there is a sign that reads "Marry Me". She is surrounded by her closest friends. Cornelius then takes Tiara's hands and looks into her eyes. He begins to pour his heart out, saying why he wants to make her his wife. Then he drops to one knee and asks the infamous question, "Tiara Evette Eady, will you marry me?", she happily accepts, they share a kiss and celebrate with champagne.
