I was studying for the LSAT to apply to law school and scrolling through Bumble when I needed a break from studying. Alex was on leave from work due to the pandemic cut backs and also bored on Bumble. Our commonalities: we're both Leos, we both had a dog and a cat, we're both homeowners, and we both love Yuengling! He asked if we could meet up one weekend. I said, "I have a really big test to take on Monday (June 15, 2020)." He said, "So, how about Friday (June 19)?" We met at Guinness Brewery and talked for a while until a thunderstorm came through and forced us to go inside the building - which was a No-No in the age of "social distancing" and "wear a mask." We gladly left Guinness but weren't ready to end the night, so we kept riding up Rt. 1 until we found a place that was open and not being "masky" - Triple Nines. We played pool and darts and talked and continued to have a great night. We've been together ever since. Our anniversary is the day we met, June 19th, and 4 years later we got engaged on that same date! When we met, he was unemployed and I was applying to law school. Now, he is the Lead Welding Instructor at a top notch trade school, and I'm months away from being a lawyer! #powercouple
