FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. We hope this notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Question

What's the attire?

Answer

We want you to look and feel your best which is why we ask our guests to wear cocktail attire but, we won't be too picky. Just no gym shorts and flip flops please!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

A wedding should reflect the bride and groom - it is their day after all. With that, there will be no alcohol during the ceremony and reception but there will be some delicious mocktails. Downtown Columbia has lots of local bars/breweries to enjoy before and after the wedding! There are also many bars located on Lake Murray - so drink with a beautiful view!

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Since there will be no alcohol, our guests should be able to drive back to their places so there will be no shuttles for guests. However, Lyft and Uber are very popular in Columbia and can be used for our guests who are too tired to drive themselves!

Question

Do I have to mail back my rsvp or can I rsvp online?

Answer

You can RSVP online using the QR code/wedding website link. This makes it easier for us to keep track of our guests!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an unplugged event so we ask that phones be kept in pockets or purses on silent/vibrate, please.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We believe that we have everything we need so we are actually not registered anywhere. We know this is unconventional but, we really just want funds for our honeymoon or house.

Question

We have questions that haven't been addressed here - who should we contact?
