We both attended a retreat to Fruitland, FL with our friends and didn't think much of it. On the last night, we ended up staying up late playing Uno and T wanted to make it more interesting, so whoever won each round got to ask the other person a Truth or Dare. We won't say who won the most, but one pivotal question was: do you like me? and from there, the rest is history. #MeetTheNelsons2019

It was Spring Break 2018 and Ricky wanted us to have dinner with both our families. Nothing too alarming, let's have dinner before I have to head back to UF and him to FAU (yes we know...300 miles apart). We went to a seafood restaurant right by the water in Deerfield Beach, but had to wait for our reservation, so we took a stroll on the pier. As I was looking at the ocean, I looked over and he was down on one knee. Me being me, I had so many questions, "You're playing? When did you get it? How did you get it? Until I finally said "yes!". We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Miami!
