They say to never date co-workers. Well, on February 21 2026, we got engaged - as co-workers! And, as best friends, adventure buddies, travel partners, and fellow children of God! After we met during the summer of 2024, an indescribable, intangible feeling had weighed on us, telling us that we would be very significant to each other's lives. It took us about a year to figure out what our hearts were trying to tell us, and then finally - in a leap of blind faith - we began our adventure as a couple in June 2025. The past year has been transformative for us, seeing how God has shaped the love and grace we receive and try to reflect in each other. As we take another leap of faith - this time, into marriage - we feel strongly that we would not be who we are or where we are today without the relationships we have been graced with through our family and friends. This July, we pray that we can celebrate and honor our relationships. We will stand witness to our faith in Jesus, and profess our love to each other in the ultimate way. At the same time, however, we see opportunity in this to bring our people alongside us and celebrate the beauty of relationship as well as the 'mystery' of marriage. With that, we invite you to celebrate! Our marriage can be the jumping off point for celebration, but the underlying works of God are the most deserving of praise and celebration. We are cooking up some fun things for the wedding weekend, and our continuing prayer is that through these fun events, God will be praised, and can set the tone for growth in all our relationships.
