Welcome to our wedding weekend! We have a property starting Friday, October 3rd through Monday, October 6th. Our friends coming from across the United States are invited to stay on property starting October 3rd. We will host a rehearsal brunch on the property the Saturday of October 4th. Our formal wedding will be Sunday, October 5th.

Dress Code?

Answer

For the Ceremony, think “garden tea party”. We love floral dresses, khaki shorts/pants, button-up shirts, and polos. Please note that this may be a fancy back yard, but it is still a back yard wedding! There may not be a paved path to walk on (So be careful if you chose to wear heels). For the Reception, we will start off in our formal wedding apparel but expect an outfit change from Bride and Groom ;) At this time, feel free to use one of the many available bedrooms/bathrooms on property to get changed. We really don’t care what you wear at this point in the night. Got a shirt your spouse won’t let you out of the house in? Wear it. Found a pair of wacky pants at Goodwill you’ve never had a place to wear? Wear it! Want to get the kids in their pjs before you put them in the car? Absolutely. Or, keep it simple and wear one outfit all night (your washer and dryer will thank you later).

Listen, this is a house we are renting, the rules are no destruction of property and no smoking inside (luckily there is plenty of outdoor space!) . Bring a ball to toss around, your favorite REI lawn chair, knitting needles, Etc. Or bring nothing! We will have TONS to do.
