We're staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Huntington, located on the north shore of Long Island.
It's a charming town with many shops and eateries within walking distance. There are local beaches and preserves to see the Long Island Sound, a 10-minute drive away. We've shared our local favorites in the Things To Do section. We hope you have fun exploring that area.

For our out-of-state friends, if you decide not to rent a car, Lyft/Uber goes to the airport, or there is an option to use public transportation from JFK Airport to Huntington. From JFK Airport, take the shuttle to Jamaica Terminal. Switch there to take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) for the Port Jefferson Branch line to the Huntington stop or Cold Spring Harbor stop. From there, downtown Huntington is a 10-minute Uber/taxi drive away.
