Question

NC ABC Laws

Answer

In the state of North Carolina, you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. You are required to present I.D. if requested. In North Carolina, ABC Rule 2S.0232(3) states that on-premise permittees cannot sell more than one drink to a customer for their own consumption at a time. This rule also prohibits selling more than one drink to a customer for a single price, such as bottomless brunches. However, there are some exceptions to this rule: Pitchers: Permittees can sell pitchers of alcoholic beverages to two or more customers. Wine: Permittees can sell a single carafe or bottle of wine to one customer. Mixed drinks: Permittees cannot give more than one mixed drink to a customer at a time. However, customers can order two beers or wines at a time.
