Tiana and Ki'Shjuan first laid eyes on each other during their first week at Lamar University at a dorm orientation. Mr. Busby turned around and saw Ms. Broadway and soon-to-be (Mrs. Busby), was swept off of her feet. Later that day, Ki'Shjuan and his roommate, Mr. Wayne Anderson, approached Tiana's dorm room and introduced themselves. They found themselves being next door neighbors! They all became friends and as time progressed, they began to hang out more often and this has lead them to where they are today!

Tiana and her friends, Jasmine and Zhavia, made dinner reservations at XOXO Dining Room one weekend they were in Dallas. Of course everything seemed normal to Tiana that day, but once they arrived back at home something felt a little off. As she opened the garage door, she saw a few beaming candles on the floor. Tiana was totally stunned. Once she turned that corner her life was going to change forever! The family held their camera phones out, the big light up letters that said "MARRY ME!" lit up the room, and a wall full of pictures from their memories over the years made this a special moment. This was by far the best day of their lives!
