We met like any millennial couple meets now a days--online! Thanks to Bumble, Tiana asked a question and Jon (luckily) answered perfectly. We texted back and forth, but had to wait to meet as Jon was having a boys weekend in Vegas. Jon sent a few hilarious drunken texts and was quite surprised that Tiana was still up to go on a date. They went to a Tucson Halloween staple, The Slaughter House, where they both screamed like little girls and laughed until our sides hurt and haven't stopped since!
Tiana planned to take pictures for her graduation announcements with our now Wedding Photographer, Andrea O'Bert (Check her out! We LOVE her!). Jon had more in mind, with help from Tiana's mom, Heidi. Tiana invited Jon to come along to be in some photos, but he declined since she had only booked a 30 minute session. We were rushing to get so many pictures and spots on campus in the time frame, when we got to the last spot, it felt like Andrea was taking a million pictures in somewhat silly poses. Tiana's mom came along and Tiana noticed her getting a little teary eyed (for those who know Heidi--shocker right?) when Tiana felt someone tap her on the shoulder. Tiana turned to see Jon on one knee, asking to be his wife! Apparently, everyone in the families knew and Tiana is extremely impressed to know that everyone is such great secret keepers.
