We met through our friends Dan Messina, who is married to Tiana's friend Steph Messina. Over the years when each friend group would combine for events, we would see each other from time to time just as acquaintances. Jake always thought Tiana was cute but was off his radar until....she became available. But Jake did not make the first move. Steph and Tiana used to work together and one day at the salon, Steph nonchalantly says, "Jake is still single." Tiana's first reaction was, "Really? How? He seems so nice." Being bold, Tiana told Steph to give Jake her number. Over the next 24hrs she received a text message, "Hi this is Jake Johnson, Steph gave me your number, how are you?" And the rest is history!
