Our Story
We spent two years at Berkeley orbiting the same circles, sharing mutual friends, yet never meeting. When Dylan finally moved back to LA from SF, we met at Ester’s in Santa Monica. Dylan couldn’t look away from Tiana's ‘million-dollar smile,’ and we talked for hours.
Family is everything to us, so falling in love with each other’s was essential. After Dylan kept up at a family wedding in Mexico just a few months into dating (and owning the dance floor!), Tiana knew he was the one.
We also shared an immediate understanding: Tiana was grieving the sudden loss of her father, after losing her mother years prior, and Dylan had lost his big sister. Our connection grew from that empathy, gratitude, and finding joy again.
Today, we’re building a life in Santa Monica—filled with sunset beach walks and Dylan desperately protecting his daily Duolingo streak to keep up with the Cherbosque family’s Spanish.
We can’t wait to continue building with all of you as we celebrate this next chapter!
