Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is 9/18/2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as 'no'.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, you will see that reflected in your invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Are children welcome?

Answer

If you and your family have a little one that was not originally addressed on the invitation and you would like to join you for the ceremony/reception/etc, please reach out to the bride and groom for accommodations. We love kids and will try to accommodate everyone as we are able. :)

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be drinks available during cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception. We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors; however, dinner and reception will be outside under a covered space. Please make sure to dress appropriately!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is autumn garden party (more of a semi-formal vibe). Fall in Michigan can be unpredictable as far as temperatures go, so plan ahead and dress accordingly!

Will transportation be available?

Answer

Since there is limited parking at the reception location, we have created carpool groups for transportation from the ceremony to the reception. We are reaching out to those chosen to be the drivers (you know who you are), and everyone else will be a passenger in a vehicle! We will have the groups posted at the ceremony so there is (hopefully) no confusion as to what group you are in. We will have a shuttle running from the hotel to the church at the following times: 1:00 pm - for those who want to get downtown early and grab lunch or walk around 1:45 pm 2:30pm *If you do not plan on taking the shuttle or the shuttle is full, please have a plan for alternative transportation. We will also have a shuttle running from the reception back to the hotel at the following times: 8:30 pm 9:30 pm 10:30 pm 11:30 pm
