2:30 PM on Sunday, October 11th. Since this is held at an Orthodox Church, it will begin about two hours after the church service.

4:30 PM at Magnolia's Banquet Hall located at 389 Bartlett Plaza, Bartlett, IL 60103.

When and why we have a log cutting?

Answer

We are having the log cutting after the ceremony outside the church. The log cutting symbolizes the first hardship we will overcome as a newlywed couple.

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

We will be catering traditional Persian food (non-spicy) and will be serving spiced carrot cake, assorted cupcakes, assorted cookies.
