Bri and T have gone to school together since elementary school, but were never in the same social circle. It wasn't until T moved back to Polk County from Orlando that their paths finally crossed. T was working at Winter Haven Starbucks when Bri came through one morning for her usual macchiato. Now anyone who knows Bri knows it's iced drinks or nothing and T ended up making her drink hot (the audacity). After telling T that she had made her drink wrong, T began to fluster and make her drink again. After a couple of weeks of casual drive-thru interactions, T found Bri on Facebook. Eventually, after some time messaging through social media, they went on their first date at none other than Starbucks. From the first date they became inseperable, you could say it was love at first brew. Fast forward to October 20, 2019. A friend of T's invited them to Disney for a magical day. Little did T know that Bri had something extra special planned. The car ride to Disney had Bri's stomach in knots and T was, as per usual, completely oblivious. The day was filled with sunshine, long lines, and nervous sweat from Bri. The closer 2 pm rolled around, the more Bri and Stacie insisted on pictures in front of the castle, since there would be the least amount of Disney goers gathered there. The time had come and Stacie wrangled a photographer and Bri and T began to endure the sun and squint through photos. A few poses in Bri went for the cliche "tying of the shoe" and pulled out that little black box. T, still very much oblivious, turned to Stacie just in time to see Bri begin to kneel. The next few moments were filled with tears, clapping and a YES! They spent the rest of the day taking it all in, calling friends and family and embracing the Disney and engagement magic.
