I didn't meet my best friend in school - I met her after, when life was already changing faster than I could comprehend. Even though we didn't grow up together, it feels like we've known each other forever. Somehow, she became the person who understands me best, like we were always meant to cross paths. I am so grateful for her - her guidance, her humor, her patience with my constantly changing attitude, and most of all, her friendship. I couldn't imagine ever doing life without her.

The first time we met, I was out of my comfort zone, being introduced to so many new strangers at once. She was the first person who made me feel at home when everything else felt new or intimidating. She made me feel welcome, seen, and completely at ease. Her kindness, humor, and genuine heart have meant so much to me ever since. Sarah is the kind of person who you can pour your heart out to or even just sit with in silence, and both moments feel equally understood. I know she will be there through every high and low and she will always still accept me.

Erin and I were introduced through a mutual acquaintance while I was still in college, and our bond grew effortlessly. She's been there through so many big moments, and I honestly can't imagine this day without her. She's one of those people you just instantly click with, and I'm so thankful our paths crossed. I know I can always count on her love and her support and this friendship will last a lifetime.
