On this day, Ray and Tia thought it was just going to be a normal day, but man were they wrong. Let's set up the scene. It's Tia's first day at her job at UCCS (University of Colorado Colorado Springs), eager, nervous but also excited to be there and to be training, but little did she know that her life was about to change. Cue Ray. Ray is on his way out of his office when he spots the profile of the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. Trying his best to strike a conversation with this gorgeous human, Ray makes a joke about how training is the worst. Tia does not think this is funny at all, and thinks that Ray is the worst, and doesn't even say anything to him. Ray walks away defeated but does not give up. After almost 2 years of cute antics and romantic gestures, Tia (finally!) builds up enough courage to ask Ray on a coffee date. From that moment on, they both knew that they liked each other a latte, and the rest is history!

Anybody that knows Tia, knows that Tia loves Halloween. And when we say loves Halloween, we mean LOOOOVES Halloween. Ray, knowing that Halloween already holds a special place in Tia's heart, wanted to give Tia one more reason to love Halloween. So on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 Ray put into motion his most clever and romantic trick (or should I say treat) he has ever thought up. Ray dressed up as a mouse, and Tia dressed up as a cat, and Colton as an Elephant! Ray has the help of his & Tia's friends to distract Tia, while he and Colton go outside to pretend to be trick-o-treaters. *Cue Door Bell Sound* Our friends tell Tia to get the doorbell, but instead of treat-o-treaters, Tia finds Ray & Colton, with a ring, asking for Tia's hand in marriage. And...she said YES!!!
