Taylor Locke
Best Man
Taylor and Nate met in college their freshman year, joining their fraternity, SigEp, at the same time. Through their time at college, and post college in Portland, they've cemented their best friend status, despite Taylor's questionable sports fandom (Yankees/Giants). Nate was Taylor's best man at his wedding in 2021, so we're excited to hear Taylor's best man speech when the time comes! If you happen to strike a conversation with Taylor, congratulate him on being a new dad.
Christian Labonte

Nate and Christian met freshman year of college. While Christian made the poor decision of joining Beta instead of SigEp, he and Nate became great friends, attending hockey games together and becoming members of the Senior Skulls. If you happen to strike up a conversation with Christian at the wedding, take the opportunity to have him examine any of your sore teeth (he's a dentist), or explain his investment thesis on bitcoin.
Joey Davis

Like many other groomsmen, Joey and Nate also met at UMaine through SigEp. Through a combination of friendship, peer pressure, and super fandom, Joey will always say yes to attending a Red Sox or Patriots game, even if it’s a last minute decision to go. Even when it is not as exciting as a professional sporting event, Joey is a reliable friend and is always the first to say yes to hanging out (unless it conflicts with a Seadogs bobble head night).
Jordan Carr

Jordan and Nate also met at SigEp at UMaine, Jordan was an incoming freshman and Nate a sophomore. Upon joining the fraternity, Jordan was placed as Nate’s “mentee”. Since then, they've enjoyed many Red Sox games, ski trips, and brewery days. In 2024, Nate and Jordan both ran their first marathon and were able to train a little together, it’s amazing how easy running 16 miles is when you can talk the whole time!
Nick Kothman

Nate's longest standing friend, Nick and Nate met at baseball camp in middle school, and then subsequently were placed in the same high school home room. In high school, Nick and Nate were inseparable, and spent many hours on the wii playing mario kart, super smash bros, and mario party. Nick and Nate also shared the dynamic of peaking in their baseball skills in freshman/sophomore year on the JV team, and then riding the varsity bench thereafter. Since then, they’ve shifted their attention and focus to discuss different ways to rack up Marriott points.
Andy Prusaitis

Andy and Nate also met in college, at SigEp. Andy is a man of many talents: a bio-engineer turned life insurance actuary, the friend group's Fantasy Football Commissioner, and an avid cook. Andy is usually first to say yes to an adventurous trip, and also most likely to order for the table when going out to eat. Andy's party alter ego is "Randy", so be sure to look out for him on the dance floor!
Hannah Burns

Hannah immediately welcomed Tia into the fold when Tia and Nate relocated to Maine - she's the best! When Hannah isn't hitting the books (she's currently in a speech-language pathology grad program at the University of Virginia), she loves to explore her new home in Charlottesville or take a fun trip. If you're chatting with Hannah, ask her about her (somewhat brief) career driving an ambulance.
Emily Movafaghi

Emily and Tia met at work and built a friendship 3000+ miles apart while Emily lived and worked in the UK. Emily is a gifted tennis player (her serve scares Tia), lover of house music, and Tia's favorite person to travel with (sorry, Nate). If you're chatting with Emily, ask her about her favorite most recent trip, the story of her and Tia's first time skiing together, or Formula 1.
Jenna Settle

Tia and Jenna met through their sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, and couldn't have been faster friends bonding over their love of music, working out, and the occasional Taco Bell run. Jenna is now a mom of two of the cutest kids around. If you hear Tia laughing at the wedding, it's probably because of something Jenna said - she is probably the funniest person you'll ever meet!
Tess Newlove

Tess is the keeper of all of the best (or worst, depending on who you ask) childhood stories about Tia. Note: Tia has just as many about Tess. If you're also in your thirties learning about electricity to answer the questions of your five-year old son, you and Tess will have a lot to talk about. Tess also enjoys Crossfit, a good cup of coffee, and getting outside (preference to the the warmer months in Michigan).

Also known as the senior member of the junior staff, Taylor embodies what most people think of when you describe an 'eldest daughter'.... she gives great advice and has never relaxed a day in her life. Taylor keeps extremely busy with two daughters (#3 coming soon). Ask her about the Cleveland Metropark system, planning a Disney trip, or why, as an RD, she recommends you don't listen to that 'nutritionist' you saw twitter.
